Toblino Tartufi - A Treasure of the Earth, Between Nature and Tradition.
Near the enchanting Castel Toblino, in the heart of the Valle dei Laghi, lies Toblino Tartufi, a business dedicated to the discovery, cultivation, and enhancement of the prized black truffle (Tuber melanosporum).
In this region, truffles have a long history, deeply rooted in local traditions dating back to the 17th century.
According to local lore, the inhabitants of Ranzo used to bring truffles to Castel Toblino to pay their taxes. This story bears witness to the deep connection between this precious product and the lives of local communities.
Our property covers two hectares of fully fenced land, where natural truffle grounds coexist with areas dedicated to cultivation.
It is an environment that preserves the richness of the local landscape, where we care for our truffles with passion, dedication, and respect for the rhythms of nature.
Our work focuses primarily on the prized winter black truffle, which we harvest from December to mid-March.
During this season, our fresh truffles reach private customers, retailers, and restaurants, bringing the aromas and flavours of our land to the table.
Toblino Tartufi was born from a desire to preserve and enhance this heritage and to introduce people to the fascinating world of truffles.
We share the knowledge, traditions, and hard work that go into every harvest.
We want to offer visitors the opportunity to explore our truffle grounds, discover the unique characteristics of this precious product, and enjoy an authentic experience immersed in nature, enriched by the flavours and history of the Valle dei Laghi.
Toblino Tartufi: a passion for truffles, the richness of our land, and a story to experience and share.
