Who lives at the Bastione? The Grinch, of course!
There’s someone watching everything that happens at Santa’s House from above... and he’s not exactly the friendly type! It’s the Grinch! Quirky, grumpy, and as green as it gets, he’s chosen the Bastione di Riva del Garda as his winter home, along with his loyal dog Max.
Curious? When he’s out (probably causing some mischief around town), it’s the perfect time to sneak in and explore his secret hideout.

At the Bastione di Riva del Garda, the perfect location for his "alternative" spirit.

Opening days
If you want to explore the Grinch’s lair, mark these dates:
• December 6 - 8
• December 12 - 14
• From December 19 to January 6, 2025, open every day!

Hours: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM

When to meet the Grinch in person
Do you have the courage to face the master of the house? Here’s when you can meet him:
• Dates: 6th, 7th, 13th, 14th, 20th, 21st, 26th, 27th December 2023  + 3rd, 4th January 2026
• Hours: 11:00 AM, 2:00 PM, 4:00 PM

ATTENTION

The Grinch has decided to shake things up: the show scheduled for December 13 at 4:00 PM will not take place!
It seems he’s working on something very secret. Stay tuned… you’ll find out why soon!

To access the Grinch’s House, take the panoramic lift.

Tickets can be purchased online or on site.
Buying your ticket online does not provide priority access: in case of high turnout, you may need to wait your turn.

Prices: 

• One-way: € 6.00 - You can purchase a one-way ticket (up or down only) for the Bastione panoramic lift at this link
• Return: € 10.00 
• Children up to 11 years old: free (from 12 years onward, admission fee applies)
