Internationally acclaimed jazz bassist and composer, Kinga Głyk is one of the brightest voices of the new generation. Widely regarded as the best Polish bassist of her time, she has captured audiences with her extraordinary talent, musical sensitivity, and unmistakable groove.
She has received prestigious accolades, including a nomination for the Deutscher JAZZ PRESS Awards alongside artists like Christian McBride and Wolfgang Muthspiel, and the Koryfeusz of Polish Music award. Her album Feelings reached a wide audience with tracks like Joy Joy (over 1 million views) and her renowned cover of Eric Clapton’s Tears in Heaven, which surpassed 20 million views.
Kinga has performed throughout Europe and Asia, bringing her music to countries such as Poland, Germany, Italy, France, Switzerland, Austria, Norway, Indonesia, and many more. A standout moment in her career was her 2017 performance with Marcus Miller at the Leverkusen Jazz Festival.
Born into a musical family, Kinga made her debut at just 12 years old with the family trio Głyk P.I.K.. At 18, she released her first album, Rejestracja, which was enthusiastically received by leading music publications such as Jazz Forum and Your Blues.
