Hike in Val Algone with Andrea Bettega, illustrator and designer
From the Malga Movlina parking lot, it takes just a few minutes to reach one of the most stunning viewpoints in the Park, offering a sweeping panorama over the Brenta, Adamello, and Presanella mountain groups. After reaching Passo del Gotro, the trail descends to Malga Bandalors, maintaining a privileged view over Val Rendena, before joining the return path, dotted with remnants of mining activity dating back to the era of glassmaking industries.
Andrea Bettega, an illustrator and designer from Vicenza, creates content for brands, companies, and publishers using strong contrasts and sharp shadows over vivid, pop-inspired colors. He nurtures a passion for the mountains, which led to the creation of the podcast L’AltraMontagna – Alpigrafismi, which he writes, narrates, and produces. It's an anthology-like narrative through pages of literature, artistic analysis, film clips, advertisements, and everything pop culture has produced about the highlands. He has collaborated with Il Sole 24 Ore, L’Espresso, Accademia della Crusca, Salani Editore, La Stampa, Iperborea, Il Corriere della Sera, Il Foglio, Montura, Il Saggiatore, Patagonia, Editrice People, CNSAS, Legambiente, Nord Est Multimedia, and L’AltraMontagna.
