The magic of Christmas in Canale doesn’t end when the stalls close!
The Living Nativity in the Village – December 26, from 14:00 to 18:00
For one day, Canale becomes a fairy-tale setting for the Nativity. Alongside the shepherds with their animals and the Holy Family hosted in a stable within the village, ancient crafts, customs, and traditions come back to life.
The shepherds’ procession and the Living Nativity are accompanied by the music of “I c’era una volta” (“Once Upon a Time”).
The Befana Festival – January 6, from 15:00
The friendly old lady arrives in the square to fill children’s stockings with sweets and gifts.
