For centuries the pass was the most important communication route between the port of Riva del Garda and Tione with the Rendena Valley. The dirt path-road that leads from Larido to Passo Durone was one of the routes for promoting and spreading the cooperative system in Rendena Valley and Chiese Valley. It gained relevance especially since 1890, following the foundation of the first cooperative of Villa di Bleggio.

The "Cooperation Path" starts from the small village of Santa Croce, just above the church. At the junction with the main road, turn left, go down to the church of San Giuliano, where you turn left again; here starts a gentle slope that in a few minutes leads to Vergonzo. Continue always along the road crossing the village and then turn left, at the church keep right and at the next junction turn left to reach the church of Duvredo. Here keep right and then at the third junction keep left, then continue straight until you find the junction where you turn right.
Continue and you will find the first houses of Bivedo until you turn right and then immediately left, climb up and the path starts. Always keep left and reach the village of Larido; upon arriving at the Cooperation Museum, turn right, then left and right again to reach the Church of Bivedo. From there continue on the right until you reach the last part of the village, keep right and in a short time you will reach Santa Croce and the starting point.
