We set off from Lundo and climb along the Naone forest road until we reach La Quadra, and from there the Don Zio Mountain Hut and the summit of Monte Casale, the most panoramic mountain in the valley.
From the top, the view stretches in all directions: from the Dolomites of Fiemme and Fassa to Monte Bondone, from Pasubio to Monte Baldo, from the Ledrensi Alps to the Adamello Group, from the Presanella to the Ortles, and from the Brenta Dolomites to the Paganella. Below, you'll spot several lakes, including Toblino, Santa Massenza, and Lake Garda.
At 2:00 p.m., we’ll enjoy a concert by Trio Respira with Erica Boschiero at the Don Zio hut.
At 3:30 p.m., we begin the return, passing through Malga Valbona and Malga Vigo, then descending along the Blestone forest road to the archaeological site of San Martino, which we’ll visit before returning to Lundo to close our loop hike.
