Hike to the pastures of Malga Stabio.

An afternoon at the pastures of Malga Stabio, where animals still graze during the summer season. A hike through open meadows and peaceful woods to discover the rhythm of the mountains and the authentic life in an alpine hut.

An afternoon in the alpine pastures: here’s how to get ready

Meeting point at 2:00 PM at the car park near the Thermal Baths footbridge (Open in Google Maps), from here, participants will drive their own vehicles to the trailhead;
The route follows SAT trail 453 – a pleasant climb through forest and open pastures to reach the malga;
A break is planned along the route, with the option of a snack at your own expense;
A local expert will accompany the group, sharing stories and curiosities about alpine farming and the natural surroundings
Recommended gear: trekking shoes, backpack with at least 1 litre of water, snack, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, spare t-shirt, sweatshirt, and waterproof jacket or umbrella;
The activity is half price for children up to the age of 11, full price over the age of 12;
Aquavita card holders receive a 50% discount. When booking, enter the code provided by your accommodation in the "discount code" section.

This experience is not accessible to people with motor, visual or hearing impairments, due to the mountain trail conditions.
