Christmas in the Cave aims to highlight two distinctive elements of the village of Bezzecca:
The Lamarmora Tunnel: a cave that is part of the trench complex dug into the hill of Santo Stefano, a hill used during the First World War that today hosts a labyrinth of trenches and wartime memorials.
The Giant Gilli: a historical figure from Bezzecca who lived in the 1700s. Thanks to his extraordinary height (254 cm), he toured Europe with a circus company.
