From the locality Le Cross, above Balbido, the starting point of the route, you can see some crosses arranged to form a large cross. The route continues through the woods, along a dirt road on which, in some points, there is also a beautiful view of the valley.

You reach Rango, a characteristic village that is part of the national Club of the Most Beautiful Villages of Italy, whose houses preserve the typical rural architecture of the Giudicarie Valleys. After a visit to the village, you can return on the path that runs parallel to the outgoing one but lower down. Along the path, you can notice dry stone walls, skillfully built in the past using stones found on site and walnut trees that once formed dense forests and whose fruits were a source of income for local farmers and are now the typical product of the area.

The Bleggio area is connected to the other centers of Garda Trentino by extra-urban bus lines 211 (Riva del Garda - Tenno - Fiavè - Ponte Arche) and 210 (Ponte Arche - S.Croce - Cavrasto - Bivedo).

From Ponte Arche/Comano Terme, go up the Bleggio road and at Balbido (7 km), take the road towards Val Marcia up to the locality Le Cross.

This hike is rather easy and does not present particular difficulties. However, we recommend wearing appropriate footwear and bringing a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses. Don’t forget water.
