Guided tour to discover the Banale area.

An afternoon full of surprises in a land that’s anything but “banal”. From Ponte Arche, a minibus takes you along the Caffaro state road to the Ponte dei Servi, where a short walk on a steel footbridge offers a breathtaking view of the Limarò gorge, carved over millennia by the Sarca River. The tour continues through the villages of the Banale area: passing Tavodo, reaching Seo for a walk through its alleys, a glimpse of the old travaglia, and a visit to the historic turnario cheese dairy. Before heading back, a final stop at the spectacular Rio Bianco waterfall, one of the most scenic viewpoints in the area. A small journey between nature and tradition, to be discovered step by step.

An afternoon of nature and village life: what to expect

• Meeting point at 2:30 PM in Ponte Arche. From there, travel by minibus to the Ponte dei Servi, followed by a short panoramic walk, then on to Seo (via Tavodo) for a village stroll, a look at the travaglia and the historic cheese dairy, and finally to the Rio Bianco waterfall;
• The tour is led by a local expert, sharing stories and insights into the territory;
• Return to Ponte Arche is scheduled for around 5:30 pm;
• Comfortable shoes and practical clothing are recommended;
