Delicious itineraries between lake and mountains

Tenno is just a few kilometers from Riva del Garda. Yet, as you ascend the valley, you can distinctly feel a change in the landscape and environment: from the south-facing olive groves, you gradually transition to denser forests with more alpine vegetation. This unique combination allows for crops and agricultural activities that are typically not found in the same location.
This series of excursions aims to showcase the environmental and gastronomic richness of this small town, whose territory is protected as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

Enjoyable trekking starting from the S. Pietro parking lot, venturing into the forest amidst the scent of firs and the majesty of larches. Passing through the ancient beech forests along the mountain ridge, you first reach the cabin of the poet Giacomo Floriani, then the ancient church of S. Pietro and the nearby refuge, a magnificent viewpoint over Lake Garda. To conclude, enjoy a tasting of local products offered by Agritur Calvola and the Le Fontanelle Farm at Casa Bastiani.
