The Fiavè volunteer fire fighters, in collaboration with the Gruppo Giovani di Fiavè (Fiavè Youth Group), opens the doors of its fire station and organises Pompieropoli for the third year running, on 27 July.
An afternoon dedicated to children, including obstacle courses, flying in an aeroplane and, of course, a dip in the foam pool. A non-competitive race aimed at fun, cheerfulness and sharing.
Starting at 14.30 the doors of the barracks will open to the public, to show the places and equipment that these volunteers use, safeguarding our safety. Children will be able to try their hand at the organised course, in safety and joy. And to top it all off, they will witness some manoeuvres with ladders and hydrants... may someone get the urge to be a fireman!
Drinks and chips will be distributed throughout the event.
