1. Lake Tenno

Lake Tenno, with its characteristic turquoise color, is one of the cleanest alpine lakes in Italy. In the summer it is possible to swim in it. It was formed around 1100 AD when a landslide from Cima Salti (to the southwest) blocked the course of the “Rio Secco”.The lake is characterized by the presence of a small island covered with vegetation. When the lake is low another island emerges, known as "the island of '86": that year a plaque was placed there, reading “When you see me you shall weep” - the island only emerges in periods of severe drought, a calamity for cultivations in the area.
2. The medieval village of Canale

The medieval village of Canale is considered one of the "hundred most beautiful villages in Italy". It's a mix of history, architecture, art and tradition, preserved almost intact to the present day. Its architecture, made of stone houses, vaults, underpasses, alleyways and walkways well represents the traditional architecture of medieval villages in this rural area.

Each summer in August the village comes alive for the traditional event of "Rustico Medioevo”, between gastronomy and historical reenactment.
3  House of Artists

The "Giacomo Vittone House of Artists", established in the 60s from an idea of an amateur painter, Giacomo Vittone, who used to cycle up to the village from Riva del Garda in order to paint, has long been a meeting and passage location for artists from around the world; in addition to temporary exhibitions of internationl level, on the premises the many works of art left as gift by the artists who stayed there over the years can be found.

Nearby you can visit the museum of agricultural tools, home to a large collection of tools traditionally used in agriculture and other activities such as workshops and wine production.
