Lake Garda and the waterways of Garda Trentino offer fishing enthusiasts a range of diverse environments: from the
largest lake in Italy to tiny bodies of water at the feet of the mountains, like Lake Ledro, and the River Sarca. You can fish for many species here: trout, chub, whitefish, tench, brown trout, eel, barbel, pike, carp, and char...
To fish in Lake Garda you need an Italian fishing license or an equivalent provincial touristic fishing license.
To fish in rivers and small lakes (Tenno, Cavedine, Ledro, and others) you also need a daily or weekly pass issued
by the local fishing association which you can buy in the tourist information offices in Riva del Garda, Arco, Torbole and Pieve di Ledro.
