A historic house which probably dates back to the 15th century. It overlooks the harbour and often appears in paintings of Torbole. There is a fresco on the front of the building by Hans Lietzmann which shows Saint Anthony speaking to the fish. The Berlin painter (1872-1955) moved to Torbole towards the turn of the 19th century and opened a school of nude painting which attracted major artists. Many of his greatest works remain, and these also contributed to spreading the image of the Alto Garda and Torbole north of the Alps.
