"Whenever I can, every day I can, I train on Lake Garda. I really like when, sitting down at the Circolo Surf Torbole, I peer at the lake getting lots of white curls, my heart pumps up, and I am ready to glide through the water."
With these precise words, Bruno Martini summarises his huge love for Garda Trentino and its crystal clear waters that vigorously move the board pushed towards different directions.
Born in 1993, the windsurfing champion has been growing his passion since he was 8 years old. He is now the Garda Trentino Ambassador for this sport.
Bruno Martini is one of the youngest Pro Slalom professional windsurfer in the world, with a high potential for important future results.
When asking him what it feels like to represent your own place as an Ambassador, Bruno gives this answer:
"It is real pride and pleasure to me, this connection underlines that I belong to this lake; a lake that offers this sport a great opportunity of training and having fun. It's one of the best places in the world and I really hope to stand for it at my best."
Nowadays Garda Trentino is a magical place for windsurfing; the Ambassador Martini himself confirms that in his own words: "On Garda Trentino I have been able to train where it would have been impossible in other places all over Italy. From March to November my training sessions are guaranteed by a unique micro climate in the whole world, which is perfect for this sport!"
Windsurfing in Garda Trentino has also a meeting point for all the enthusiasts who choose to tame the waves here, year after year: the Circolo Surf Torbole.
This sport has all the taste of freedom and lightheartedness in itself, the same that we seem to perceive while cooing over Bruno Martini on his board, ready for ruling another of the several waves that ruffle the whole Garda Trentino.
