Basket of Sarca Valley Golden Delicious with ice cream and corn wafer

Baskets (Serves 6) :


- 3 golden delicious apples
- 150 g sugar
- 150 g dry Trento spumante
- 250 g water

Wafer:

- 60 g sugar
- 30 g brown sugar
- 20 g white flour 00
- 100 g corn flour
- 35 g butter
- homemade ice cream

Garnish: fruit of the forest, mint leaves and icing sugar
Recommended local wine: Rena
Preparation time: 40 minutes

Preparation:

Baskets: peel the apples and cut into halves. Now scoop out a cavity to make a basket and immerse them for a few minutes in the boiling syrup of sugar, spumante and water. Drain the apples and leave to cool.
 
Wafers: mix all the ingredients to a smooth paste and leave in the fridge for 30 minutes. Make little balls and lay them out on baking paper keeping them well apart from one another. Bake in the oven at 160° for a few minute until they turn golden.

Presentation of the dessert: put the apple basket on a plate, fill with a scoop of homemade ice cream and the wafer. Garnish with fruit of the forest, mint leaves and icing sugar.
