Olive groves and beehives

The experience at Maso Bòtes starts with a short walk through the historic olive grove of Varignano, an organic olive grove where centuries-old olive trees (and even millennial ones, like the Olif de Bòtes, the oldest tree in Alto Garda) grow and bees produce exquisite honey in their apiary. The visit continues with a tour of the oil mill to discover how extra virgin olive oil is made; finally, you sit down to taste the organic olive oils and honey vinegars produced on the farm.

Stroll through the organic olive grove, where you can savour the scents of wild medicinal plants, touch centuries-old olive trees, listen to the hum of bees, and admire the panoramic vistas of Lake Garda and Arco Castle. At Maso Bòtes, organic beekeeping and olive cultivation coexist in a sustainable model, with its Millenario oilive oil recognised as an “Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil” Slow Food Presidium.
