Walk to discover the village of Tiarno di Sotto and its surroundings. The village used to be called il paese dei signori, the gentlemen’s village, because of its many stately houses.

The church of Tiarno di Sotto boasts the second tallest bell tower (72 m) in Trentino. The steep Via Cerì reveals s a less well-known corner of the village. The tour ends at the little church of San Giorgio, a beautiful viewpoint over Tiarno di Sotto and the upper Valle di Ledro!

Gorg d’Abiss waterfall is a not to be missed water spectacle. It only takes a short detour through Via Všen to reach it.

Directions

From the church follow via Via Garibaldi and turn left into Via San Rocco. Turn left again and walk uphill along Via per Cerì. At the fork take Via Bortolo Degara and walk downhill towards the village. At the end of the descent take Via alla Sega and proceed along Via San Giorgio, which leads to the little church of San Giorgio.
