An easy circular route that develops at the foot of the Paganella massif and extends from the grassy meadows of Prada to the karst lakes of Lamar, with their beautiful green and transparent waters.
A simple excursion from the village of Monte Terlago to Monte Paganella. The first part of the route crosses wide stretches of meadow used for hay, perfect for taking beautiful photos. Then it continues downhill towards a basin where you will find Lake Lamar. Its turquoise waters are a very popular place to swim and relax during the summer. Once at the lake, continue left towards Selva Faeda: here you will find yourself in the middle of an untouched forest where you can spot wildlife and listen to the nature around you. At the end of the path through the woods you will reach the village of Vallene where you can take a short connection and return to the starting point at the foot of Monte Paganella.

You must wear the right clothing and bring the appropriate equipment when you go hiking in the mountains. Even on relatively short and easy outings, make sure to bring everything necessary so you don't find yourself in trouble if things take an unexpected turn, for example, if a thunderstorm breaks out or if you suddenly run low on energy.
What should you bring when you go hiking?
Your backpack (for a day trip, a capacity of 25/30L should be enough) should contain:
Make sure to wear footwear suitable for the trail and the season. The ground can be uneven and rocky and a pair of trekking boots will protect you from sprains. When the terrain is wet, a grassy slope, a slab of rock or a steep path can be dangerous unless you wear adequate footwear.
