The Val Concei cycling path runs through the villages of Locca, Enguiso and Lenzumo and the surrounding meadows and into the woods.
Trees cover almost 60% of the surface of Val Concei, the green lung of Valle di Ledro. The Sentiero Naturalistico di Fondovalle (i.e. valley floor naturalistic path) unfolds on the valley floor among firs, pines and beech trees, conifers and broadleaved trees...

From the car park in front of the school we follow Via Giacomo Cis for a short stretch in the direction of Tiarno and we turn into Via XXIV ottobre, on the righthand side of the road. We then follow Via Peluca towards Locca. After the playground we continue on country lanes towards Enguiso. At the fork we keep to the left. We cross the main road at the small capital and we proceed towards Lenzumo. At the sawmill we turn into Via dei Lach and we go past the small football pitch. We take the Sentiero naturalistico di fondovalle and we follow it to Rifugio Al Faggio, always keeping on the righthand of the Assat torrent. For the return we follow the small asphalt road from Rifugio Al Faggio to Palò, where we turn back into the Sentiero naturalistico di fondovalle. From here on, we follow the same route as the outbound journey.

Riding your bike requires specific clothing and equipment, even for relatively short and easy trips. It is always better to be prepared… e.g. for bad weather or a sudden drop in your energy levels. The unexpected things are part of the fun!
Remember to thoroughly evaluate the type of route you plan on doing, the locations you intend to cross and the current season. Has it been raining? Attention: The paths may be slippery and require more caution.
What do I need to bring on my bike tour?
It is always advised to let someone know where you plan to go and how long you expect to be.
