Ponte Arche – Poia – Campo Lomaso – Curé – Dasindo – Val Lomasone – S. Silvestro – Lundo – Comano – Godenzo – Poia – Ponte Arche
The route starts [1] from the car park (opposite the bar Al Pont, main road, bridge) where you have to go south towards the spring. Before the first bridge [2], turn left in the direction of Poia. At the junction [3] turn left and go steep uphill. Leaving behind the first buildings of Poia [4], cycle straight on. In the centre of Poia [5] at Hotel Fiore, turn right and follow the street towards south, leaving the village. At the junction [6] still cycle straight ahead. At the next junction [7] turn right and cycle down to Campo Lomaso. When you arrive at the main road [8], turn right. In the centre [9] cycle straight ahead and at the T-junction near the graveyard [10] turn left. Follow the right turn downhill [11] to Castel Campo, leave behind the castle and cycle uphill, then follow a left hairpin bend [12] southbound. At the Curé junction [13], turn left. At the junction [14] turn right and at the next one [15] right again to Dasindo. Cross the main road [16] and follow a bend to the left [17] after 100 m. At the intersection [18] turn right and follow the road out of town to the valley Lomasona. You will pass by a graveyard [19]; keep going straight ahead until the crossing with the fish farm [20] where you have to turn left. Now cycle northbound in the direction of Vigo Lomaso. You will join the main road [21] turning right and climbing to Lundo. Just before San Silvestro church, turn right [22] and take the steep concrete road uphill: when you reach the crossroads [23] turn left into a dirt road going towards Lundo. Once you have reached the center of Lundo [24], turn right. When you reach the crossroad located shortly after the last houses of the village [25], turn left towards Comano on another beautiful dirt road that will take you through woods and fields. In the center of Comano [26] keep to the left and head downhill until you reach the main road [27]. Turn left here and just after the playground on the right [28] you will take a paved road that branches off from the main road . At the next cross, [29] turn left and head downhill. When you reach the next crossroad [30] turn right and then immediately left [31]. When you arrive in Poia, turn right in front of the grocery store and continue along the main road [32] which goes slightly downhill. Continue for 400 meters and turn left into the meadow [33]. Continue for 50 meters [34] and turn left into a trail that runs through the woods (the trail is not clearly visible but exists!). The trail is rather narrow (technically challenging, but fun) [35] and will take you to Ponte Arche. The trail ends on the main road [36] (watch for traffic), turn left and go back to the starting point.
The area around Comano is connected by the intercity bus lines 211 (Riva del Garda - Tenno - Fiavè - Ponte Arche) and 201 (Trento - Ponte Arche - Campiglio – Tione) to the other places in Garda Trentino.
