Nature has no boundaries; it moves and changes with the seasons. Its concept of space is very different from that of a protected area. In order to protect the whole ecological dynamics, it is not enough to protect individual separated sites. It is necessary to merge them into a protective, interconnected network with a single goal: conservation of biodiversity.
Rete di riserve Alpi Ledrensi is a ‘coalition’ of protected areas, managed in a collaborative and shared way.
In Rete di Riserve Alpi Ledrensi there are 6 areas: Ampola Lake, Pichea Rocchetta ridge, Casèt pass, Tremalzo and Tombea mountains, Storo and Bondone alps, Laghetti (Tenno).
Rich and diverse environments where the history of human communities began, probably, alredy 10,000 years ago.
