Gnocchi with Plums of Dro

Ingredients:

- 1 Kg boiled potatoes
- 200 g white flour
- 50 g butter
- fresh plums
- 2 eggs
- sugar
- cinnamon
- a pinch of salt

Mash the potatoes and mix them with flour, butter and salt; add the beaten eggs, making sure the pastry remains compact. Wash the plums, replace the stone with a little sugar and wrap them in pastry to make some large gnocchi. These are boiled in water for a few minutes. When dry, but still hot, toss them in sugar and cinnamon. Serve in melted butter, perhaps with a sage leaf to flavour.
