The three days revolve around the village of taste set up inside the Palameeting trade fair centre.
The little chalets will host local producers of carne salada certified De.Co. Coop Alto Garda e Ledro, the butchers Macelleria Bertoldi, Macelleria Cis, Pregis, the trout farmers Troticoltura Armanini and the bakers Panificio e Pasticceria Tecchiolli will provide a mouth-watering selection of desserts. In each of the chalets there will be tastings of three dishes featuring the stars of local produce: carne salada, extra virgin olive oil from Lake Garda, fish from the lake and rivers of Trento, bread and cakes made with the flour produced locally, Torbole Broccoli, vegetables from Val di Gresta, the plums of Dro and the sweet chestnuts of Pranzo - Nago – Drena - Campi.
And before it all kicks off, an aperitif prepared by the hotel and catering college Scuola Alberghiera di Riva di Garda. Dishes will be accompanied by select wines and craft beers and the tasting will conclude with the delicious aroma of Omkafè coffee.
Something new this year is the gourmet market. In the adjacent Palavela, Trentino producers exhibit their specialities, giving visitors a chance to discover, taste and buy their produce.
The village square will host show cooking by celebrity chefs, talk shows with journalists and food bloggers, meetings and interviews with operators and experts in the sector. The perfect chance to discover the culture, traditions, flavours and know-how of Alto Garda and Trentino. All covered live by Radio Dolomiti.
There will also be music, comedy and entertainment to wind up the evenings at Garda with Taste.
