Via ferratas and iron ladder paths Lake Garda Italy

In the Lake Garda – Garda Trentino area there are many iron ladder paths and via ferratas. These are mountain routes with various degrees of difficulty, equipped with fixed cables, steps, and ladders, so that they are safely accessible even to amateur excursionists. These itineraries allow excursionists to reach mountain peaks and places which were once inaccessible. Not only are they interesting for their beautiful natural surroundings, but also from a cultural point of view: many of these routes are very old, traced and built by the Italian and Austrian troops during the First World War/ World War I.
