Free-Climbing Areas Lake Garda - Italy

Muro dell’Asino - Partete Ovest M. Colodri

- Notes: easy equipped walls for children - base area equipped with tables/benches - WC - very few parking places. Walking from Arco is recommended.
Marocche del Colodri

- Length: from 3 to 15 mt - boulders
- Notes: historic bouldering area in Arco, located just above the campsite area and the municipal swimming pool – recently, the highest boulders were fitted with anchor bolts by Arco Town Hall
Il Calvario

- Exposure: east

- Difficulty: 5b/8a - mainly 6/7
- Length: from 15 to 25 mt
- Notes: walking from Arco to Laghel is recommended - no parking in the olive grove area
Belvedere
- Locality: Nago
- Exposure: south
- N° of routes: 50
- Difficulty: from 3c/7b
- Length: 12/24 mt
- Notes: use the new access from the roundabout - lower zone with more than 20 routes from 4a to 5c

The Autonomous Province of Trento equips, takes care of, and periodically checks the climbing areas mentioned above. In the Garda Trentino territory there are many other climbing areas, equipped by experts but not officially and regularly taken care of.
It is advisable to always check the state of the walls’ equipment before using them.
It is advisable to always use a helmet to protect you from injury in falls and from falling debris.
Climbing involves certain risks and climbers must be responsible enough to know and respect the correct basic safety rules and use the proper safety gear.
